Account & Billing Issues

Common issues related to authentication, accounts, and payments.


1. Can’t Log In

Symptom: Login fails with an error message.

Solutions:

  • Wrong credentials: Double-check your email/username and password. Passwords are case-sensitive
  • OAuth issues: If using Google or Discord login, make sure you’re using the same account you registered with
  • Session expired: Clear your browser cookies for lkcreator.com and try again
  • Account not found: You may need to register first

2. Password Reset Not Working

Symptom: You requested a password reset but didn’t receive the email.

Solutions:

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • The reset link expires after 1 hour — request a new one if expired
  • Make sure you’re entering the email address you registered with
  • If using OAuth (Google/Discord), you don’t have a password — use OAuth login instead

3. Payment Failed

Symptom: Subscription payment was declined.

Solutions:

  • Check that your PayPal account has sufficient funds or a valid payment method
  • LK Creator tracks payment failures — after multiple failures, your subscription may be suspended
  • Go to Settings > Billing to check your payment status
  • Contact PayPal support if the issue persists on their end

4. Pro Features Not Working After Payment

Symptom: You paid but still see Free tier limitations.

Solutions:

  1. Wait a moment — subscription activation can take up to 30 seconds
  2. Log out and log back in to refresh your session
  3. Go to Settings > Billing and check that your subscription shows as “Active”
  4. If the status shows “Pending”, the payment may still be processing

5. Can’t Cancel Subscription

Symptom: Unable to find the cancellation option.

Solution:

  • Go to Settings > Billing > Manage Plan
  • You can also cancel directly through your PayPal subscriptions page 
  • After cancellation, your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period

6. Daily Limits Not Resetting

Symptom: Your daily generation/conversion limits didn’t reset.

Solution:

  • Limits reset at midnight UTC, not your local time
  • Generation and conversion have separate pools (12 each for Free tier)
  • Check which pool you’ve exhausted in the UI counter

7. Referral Reward Not Applied

Symptom: You referred a friend but didn’t receive the free month.

Solutions:

  • The reward is applied after the referred user subscribes to a paid plan (not just registers)
  • Make sure your friend used your referral link when signing up
  • Rewards may take up to 24 hours to appear in your account
  • Check Settings > Billing to see if the credit has been applied

8. Promotional Code Not Working

Symptom: A promo code isn’t being accepted at checkout.

Solutions:

  • Check that the code hasn’t expired — promo codes have expiration dates
  • Promo codes are case-sensitive — enter them exactly as provided
  • Some codes are valid only for monthly or annual plans, not both
  • Each promo code can typically only be used once per account
  • If the issue persists, contact support on Discord
